Family Camping Workshop and Campout at the Taproot Farm

Come learn about the basics of camping with kids, in a beautiful rural setting, with the “safety net” of the warm, dry Taproot House if anything goes wrong.  Bring your own gear, we’ll provide camp meals of local, seasonal food.

Taproot Kids New Year’s Eve Overnight

Thursday, December 31-Thursday, January 1
Cost: $60/child
The Kids' New Year's Eve Overnight will begin at 8:00 p.m., after the adults go home. Games, crafts, an evening snack, and reading aloud will occupy us until midnight, when we'll ring in the New Year and then get to bed.  Kids who don't want to (or cannot) stay up until midnight can go to sleep earlier.  Parents can collect children at Happy Hollow Park on Friday, January 1 at 11:00 a.m.
